Removal industry - Branches

A continuous program of research and development, together with a close involvement with members of the European Removal Industry, has resulted in the adaptation of the standard ISO container to meet the changing needs of the Industry.  For example, unique external and internal paint systems have been developed to combat one of the industry’s main problems; condensation.

Increased ventilation, lashing strips, varnished floors, together with a high-standard cosmetic paint finish have now become a standard for ECB’s Furniture Container.

To address the industry’s need for increased volume, ECB introduced a 46m3 container, known as the TBOX.  This unit was subsequently developed into the CTBOX Swapbody, with the addition of demountable legs.  The CTBOX Swapbody enables customers to drop containers where necessary, releasing the chassis to continue to service other clients until the CTBOX is loaded and ready for collection. 

Many customers find the CTBOX not only a logistical improvement to their fleets, but also economically viable as cab, chassis, trailer and CTBOXES are substantially cheaper than a traditional removal vehicle.

New containers are shipped ex country of origin to Europe loaded with non-hazardous, light cargoes.  Once units are unloaded, ECB Group repairs, re-paints and steam-cleans units to a high cosmetic standard.  Certain damages are possible during transit and handling by shipping lines.

Materialbox Designed for storage of packing materials The Material Box is designed for a chassis with a length of 7.45m to be transported together with a 20ft ISO container.
